Maverick

Maverick is a three year old little boy that was diagnosed with autism, global developmental delay, and expressive language disorder. He is a jokester that loves to make people laugh and sometimes "scare" them. He has a huge interest in fire trucks, police officers and cars in general. He is very strong when it comes to something he desires and wants.
Maverick has many strengths that include figuring out how things operate or go together. The largest struggle we face is the small family dynamic. It is just me and Maverick and sometimes we overwhelm each other and drive each other nuts. When you ask Maverick what he wants to be when he is older he will either say Maverick or Fire Fighter / Police Officer. I hope Maverick can have a life of happiness and enjoyment and do whatever he wants. I would love for him to face his challenges head on and power through them.
